sosnovsky rattle!

– Mommy, I drew a flower for you, says Oak with a loving voice.
– What kind of flower is that? – I’m coming to see you.
– This is a sosnovsky rattle! – delivers with pride.

It’s a cold week, let love and laughter not only warm, but also burn your hearts, relationships and homes 😂❤️

"I don’t have patience anymore"

“I don’t have patience anymore” – how many times a day do you think this idea in your head? And how much during quarantine, when the ways to respite and ask for help have decreased?

Losing patience is human. Our patience is constantly “trying” others. Those other children, loved ones, parents closest to us. We think they’re how powerful al-capones decide to break our cup of patience and push the comb under the fingernail. Clog your ears when please clean up toys, leave socks on the couch, insist on tasteing baked bacon and not hear “thank you, do not want”. Then we got angry and exploded because they crossed our red line. For which we felt helpless, lost control, did not hear. But we exploded not because they crossed, they brought out patience. We exploded because we felt little and couldn’t do anything in that hot situation. Those others had important issues for them. Maybe it was more fun for them to play than to handle it, maybe socks on the couch don’t stick to them at all, maybe feeding them bacon means worrying about them. They didn’t bring us out, and we got out of patience.

Patience to have ALWAYS and EVERYWHERE is harmful to our emotional and physical health. Imagine you’re going to go to the bathroom. You can wait a few minutes, but a few hours will end in wet pants. Or you slept poorly, and the little ones kept “Mom, Aunt, play!” and there will come the moment when you scream – “leave me alone!”. Just tired…

How to develop patience? I really do not know the miraculous programme (I myself prefer it) and I am thinking, need to strengthen patience – the ability to suffer? Maybe it’s better to see situations that keep punching fuses? Why don’t you put the steps that lead not toward the red line? Maybe learn other ways to “get out of patience” – not screaming, blaming others or yourself?
When am I more vulnerable? Evening? Tired? Didn’t have time for yourself? When I see that I’m not responding?

If I get out of my patience myself, I can go 🙂 Who would help? Inhale, exhale. To say what we want, with a funny voice (laughter cools perfectly). Allow yourself to be helpless and out of control (as a result, we are neither smaller nor larger, only emotionally healthier). Don’t expect everyone to listen to us and fulfill all our wishes. That’s not even the fairy tales ❤️

"Mommy, when you drink butter, you start turning?"

“Mommy, and when you drink buttermilk, you start turning?” asks Oak at breakfast.

Like me, those childish thinking and the world’s cognitive vicars ❤️

And the photo @joanaburn – from the time we turned three 😉

On the first Monday of the new year for one mother

You probably know the moment you're trying to make your own morning coffee and you're having a moment of peace for yourself and anyone else. It's just a good time: a man in work outside the door, the children got on the train and were getting ready to leave, the dishwasher was packed, the bread sourdough was no longer catered for. Mammoth radar captures the little one in the room. I'm not going to sit on his lips, but mom's all clear- go to the bathroom.

I take an urgent step toward him, get out of the fancy train, go on my way and run toward him. And then… Someone falls out of the shorts, someone's foot climbs into that something, slips and both applaud on the ground. We didn't.

I'm lying on the ground on my side. The little one is safely lowered without injury, only repeats the boom.

Yes, on my first Monday of the new year, straight pale, without any picturesque metaphors, I slipped on.

Why am I sharing this story? Because I think you can find gems in every. So here are a few:

✔️ Hurry slowly. In this slowing down, you may notice the dangers, pits or poops that can slip.
✔️ Don't expect anything. Or don't expect a quiet coffee. If she's calm, it's great, but it might not be. All kinds of coffees are delicious, but coffee with anger and frustration is bad for the emotional health of you and your loved ones.
✔️Seep to the result. Maybe we can achieve what you want (in this case, keep up the toilet), but you might not be able to. Because that's not all you control. You know that a that's traveling from another person's body is not really in your control.
✔️All, absolutely everything, can wash. It's not just a leg. But also shame, guilt, fear, anger. Clean water. Or laughter, the choice of attitude to the situation.
✔️This have hope. Even if you slip on the first Monday of the new year, don't think the year will be a 🙂

Longing for friends

The inter-holiday is often given time with friends. However, it is certainly not worth taking risks and violating quarantine rules from longing. My husband spontaneously gave birth to the idea of drinking wine with long-lasting friends 🙂

🍷Select a bottle of wine and fill the glasses.

🍾 You’ve clogged the remaining bottle of wine.

🚗 You take your friends and leave it at the door.

🍷Friends fill up with glasses.

☎️Vualia! You meet on a video call and sip, chat ❤️

You going to try?
