Facts which you might not know about bamboo
Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants in the world and can be invasive, so it needs to be contained or it will take over all garden.

Bamboo absorbs 5 times more CO2 from the air & releases 35% more oxygen than the equivalent amount of hardwood trees.
New bamboo shoots are harvested for a food. This should be done no more than two weeks after they have emerged. Prepare a sharp knife to cut them into the parts.

Bamboo plants grow tall and strong without pesticides need, leaving less change of harmful things to insects, animas & ecosystem in order to thrive.
Two thirds of the carbon is stored in the soil and root system which – unlike trees and cotton – isn’t dug up when the bamboo is harvested so the carbon stays in the ground.
